Fully Autonomous Retail

Black.ai logo

Black.ai's autonomous retail platform maps and monitors the state of your store in real-time using a small number of discrete 3D sensors that are built into the ceiling space.

Our distributed decision-making stack maintains a virtual 'cart' for each customer, reliably detecting and tracking all product interactions for your patrons. Detect pickup / put down events for all variety of products, even visually similar fresh-produce items, without the need to make any changes to your store layout.

Black.ai's platform respects customer privacy by using short term identification techniques and avoids facial recognition or other image based identity verification.

Large-scale installation takes days, and immediately provides you with customer data of unprecedented depth. This system enables level 1, 2, or 3 automation for your stores as desired, including completely cashier-less retail. No queues, no checkout.
